An exciting opportunity has arisen at Dirtworks in the serene rural West Auckland suburb of Whenuapai. Dirtworks is a rapidly growing bulk earthworks and transportation company. We run a large fleet of modern truck and trailers units of various brands, an array of earthmoving plant and machinery and a fleet of light vehicles, all serviced by our own fully equipped workshop technicians.
We seek a qualified or aptly experienced heavy diesel mechanic that works to a high standard to support and add to our workshop team. This position is a full-time permanent role with a generous remuneration package and friendly hours. A company vehicle will be available for the right candidate depending on your qualifications and experience. We also offer supportive management with excellent leadership, flexibility and up-skill training opportunities. Our workshop is a modern and professional environment, with a fun, energetic and skilled team.
Our ideal candidate will be:

They will also have:
- a heavy automotive level 4 trade certificate in either road transport or plant and equipment, or comparable experience
- diagnostic, auto electrical and/or hydraulic system experience
Candidates for this role will already be residing in NZ with either NZ citizenship, residency or a valid NZ work visa.
