About the Company:
Dirtworks has grown steadily over the last 10 years, providing bulk earthworks and transportation solutions to a range of customers within the Auckland region. Our management team is highly experienced and great to work with. We are looking for capable machine operators to join us, with the skills to operate a variety of heavy machinery.
The role is based on our large clean and managed fill site in West Auckland. Utilising a modern fleet of heavy earth moving machinery, you will be working with a small onsite team of operators at various skill levels to assist in the daily operations of the tipsite. You will be either an up and coming or experienced machine operator, possibly looking to further develop or broaden your machine operating skillset. Reporting through to our Operations Manager, team players with positive attitudes and a safety focus are paramount to be considered for the position.
You will have:
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery, including any moxy, bulldozers and excavators
- A reasonable fitness level
- A good attitude, be punctual and reliable
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong work ethic with high productivity
- A positive safety culture. PPE gear is provided
